TheHuman-Computer Interaction has been described broadly as thediscipline that is mainly concerned with the design, assessment andimplementation of computing schemes for human use and the study oftheir environment. Since the innovation of the HCI, variousinventions have followed due to experience gained by various expertsin their fields of expertise. It is with no doubt that humanexperience is of the essence to managing of the non-organicintelligence.

Human-ComputerIntelligence is gained through human interaction with the system,though, at a small percentage, one may argue that it requiresguidance. Human experience is a fundamental requirement for expertisein the non-organic intelligence in HCI as stated by Dyens. It hasturned into a vast and multifaceted organ in our society that is allabout the evolving concept of usability and integration to valuehuman activities as the primary driver of technology.

Focuson the positive part of the HCI would be the greatest idea accordingto me. The focus of HCI from the desktop normal computation to thebroad use of internet and other computing factors of communicationwould probably make the best of my interest. This is because throughthe rapidly growing use of internet supported by the broaddiversification of communication tools would help control thepositive and negative effects the HCI plays on human life. Socialcomputing requires a lot of discipline. To build a reputation in thefield that has brought up the extended services, such as onlineauctions for businesses, soft sensors and crowdsourcing foradvertisements businesses would need a lot of attention.

Thetwo moments of the interface to be mindful of in the HCI would be thephysical interaction components between human and machine and thecontrol and representation structures aspects. These communicationelements would include the following categories input and outputdevices, dialogue techniques and genre, the computer graphics and thedialogue architectures. These elements would make up the interfaceinteraction of the human and computers more efficient.

Withthe above analysis of the HCI concepts, its effects are vivid in thecurrent world from its expansion from the desktop spreadsheetoperations to the various automation applications in the engineeringand computing industries. The HCI is characterized with moreadvantages than disadvantages in the world today. The HCI wasdeveloped using the old technology resources and since its inceptionhas seen various development on the operating systems interfacedevelopment and microprocessing that has led to better interactionwith the users. Some of the advantages of the HCI are the industrialdevelopment of a personal computer. This has welcomed other variousdevices, automation of various human applications, shaping the futureof computing. In addition, it has also increased the development ofnetwork communication and distributed computing, use of computers invarious fields from the computing profession. Wider social concernsalso have led to developing of computers for the challenged groups inthe society such as visually challenged.

Thedevelopment of the HCI is expected to improve in future through theimproving of human interface preferences. This is based on thefollowing trends, mass availability of vast choice of computergraphics, improved functionality systems for technical andnon-technical use, portable access to computational services throughthe high speed local networks, and improved media delivery.

Inconclusion, a number of things need to change for a better HCI systemto be delivered to the users. These include the designing of friendlyHCI to avoid health issues associated with the system, improveddialogue for HCI systems to allow for real-time operation, anddevelopment of environmental friendly input/output devices for users.
